Four years ago (a little after my daughter was born) I decided to make a change and to figure my health problems out on my own. For years I had progressively felt worse and worse. I was so tired all the time, my body ached, I had major cravings and thought about food constantly, I would get acne flare ups, I was bloated and gassy, I had brain fog ...but lab tests always came back normal. I actually got annoyed when I would hear on the phone, "everything looks fine"... but I didn't feel fine! I decided I needed to figure this out myself. I started researching. I changed what I was eating...and I continued to learn and experiment. I actually didn't realize just how bad I felt until I started feeling better. I now have energy all day long, the weight fell off even though that wasn't my focus, my skin cleared up, and my body no longer aches. I was so amazed at how I could take my health into my own hands and drastically change how I feel that I enrolled in the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. I am now a Registered Holistic Nutritionist.
I know there are so many women out there that just don't feel good. And I know we don't have to accept feeling that way anymore. My mission now is to help those women who are feeling stuck or don't know where to start or feel like they don't have the time to make changes. It's so hard to do it alone. I've created a community where women like us can go and get advice, share healthy recipes, support each other, learn from each other and get questions answered. You don't have to feel like that anymore, and we are here to help.
