MEAL PLAN SUNDAY – REAL FOOD REAL QUICK – WEEK 2

HELLO FALL!!! Or did we skip straight to winter!?! With this cool weather I start craving soups and slow cooker meals and all the warm comforting foods. I also don’t mind a Sunday afternoon at home with a good cup of coffee and a little meal prep. Once it’s done I feel like supermom…at least for a minute.

Today I will pick up my groceries – I’m loving utilizing the shopping services so that I don’t even have to leave my vehicle with my kids. Then do a little prep so that I’m set for the week. Having this part done on Sunday is a game changer for me with healthy eating. Otherwise, 5:00 comes along and I have no idea what I’m going to make for supper, snacks throughout the day often end up being just what is easy, and not necessarily nutritious. But when I have a game plan, I know what I am going to be eating, I have some flexibility to swap days and snacks but I’m prepared and I feel like I’ve got my sh*& together. And I really love those days when I can bring something out of the freezer because I prepared extra the week before. No cooking and no clean up!
