This is a round up of my favourite Canada Day snacks. They are healthier options than the usual cakes and cookies so you can feel good all weekend! And most are dairy free, refined sugar free and gluten free! Better for the kids…and mama!

Using banana or marshmallows. For healthier marshmallows try this recipe.

COCONUT WHIP CREAM PARFAITS

SIMPLE RASBERRY AND WHITE CHOCOLATE BITES

WHITE CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES

GLUTEN FREE ALMOND SUGAR COOKIES

I like this sugar cookie recipe. And a dollop of coconut cream on top of the cookie with some sliced strawberries or red sprinkles, or in-between for a cookie sandwich.

STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE

RED AND WHITE POPSICLES

Using pureed strawberries or raspberries and a bit of honey (optional) and coconut cream/banana blend. Or use either of the recipes below (click images)

  

CANADA DAY COCKTAIL

Layer ice, cranberry juice, more ice, soda water, strawberries….and rum!
